In cooperation with our national partner, Facing Addiction, the Recovery Community Centers of Idaho invite you to join us as we explore opportunities for leadership, advocacy, and purpose to promote awareness of the devastating impact that addiction continues to make throughout Idaho.

The Goals:

1.  Reduce the stigma surrounding addiction.

2.  Secure passage of the SIRCA (Sober Idaho Recovery Community Act) during FY 2019

To help bring the best kind of success for Idaho’s recovery movement, we will focus our efforts on training and fortifying our army of recovery advocates and volunteers from the following groups:

• Recovery Advocates (YOU!)
• Affected Families
• Prevention Leaders
• Law Enforcement
• Faith Leaders
• Business Community
• Treatment Providers
• Medical Community
• Youth Services

The Opioid Crisis has become a national emergency in our country. It is no less of an emergency here in Idaho, especially for our family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors who are currently struggling with addiction.


On behalf of the more than 5,000 people who visited Recovery Community Centers of Idaho last month alone, THANK YOU for connecting with our mission and vision for tackling the Opioid Crisis here in Idaho.


Sober Idaho Recovery Community Act

Action Plan:

1.) Email Legislators - There is 1 Senator and 2 Reps per district in your region, as well as your congressional senators. You can prepare your letter from a template found by clicking here. If you need help drafting a personalized a letter, call 208.991.3681 for details. 

2.) Follow up with a phone call - Can we count on their support with SIRCA this legislative session?

3.) Request face to face meetings - Join us as we meet with legislators and add your voice and testimony to the cause. Tell them in person how urgent this is!

4.) Invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and families to help.
